"Caught Green Handed"

The new "Caught Green Handed" program through the Lawrence-Scioto County Solid Waste Management District is underway. The LSSWMD Staff are out and about in both counties trying to catch area recyclers. If you get "Caught Green Handed" you will receive a goodie bag from the District, a t-shirt and a $25 gift card. Be sure to smile, you will be photographed and your picture will be published in local newspapers, and on our website. This program was developed as a way to encourage recycling in the counties, as well as a thank you for use of the trailers.

Kristie Ferris was caught recycling in Lawrence County; at the Proctorville, Food Fair location. Kristie was awarded a $25.00 Visa gift card, a t-shirt and an information packet for her recycling effort. The District is visiting one site per month in both Lawrence & Scioto Counties trying to "CATCH" area recyclers, visit our sites; you could be the next one "caught"! Joe Smith was Caught Green Handed at the National Guard Armory location in Scioto County. He was awarded a $25.00 Visa card, a t-shirt, and an information packet for his efforts.
